Qiushi Square Opened at ECUST’s Xuhui Campus
Qiushi Square, located in the northwest area of ECUST’s Xuhui Campus, opened recently. The 2,824-square-meter complex was renovated from a former campus canteen.

Developed to better support education, student development, and campus life, Qiushi Square brings together 15 brands, including Luckin Coffee, Manner Coffee, KFC, Lawson, and Lianhua Supermarket. The complex provides dining, shopping, and convenient daily services for faculty and students.
Unlike conventional campus commercial facilities, Qiushi Square includes a public welfare-oriented multifunctional space on the second floor. Covering nearly 200 square meters, the atrium features an open layout with sofas, tables and chairs, and discussion areas that can be used for different activities.
Outside class hours, the space serves as an area for individual study, group discussions, and lesson preparation. It extends educational activities beyond the classroom and supports informal academic exchange among faculty and students.
The venue is open to the university community free of charge and can be used for class meetings, student organization training sessions, small lectures, seminars, and team discussions. By providing an on-campus venue, it helps reduce the cost of student activities and supports campus cultural initiatives.
The second floor also includes services such as printing and copying, hairdressing services, and document binding, offering a one-stop location for everyday needs. In addition, a public meeting room is available free of charge for official university events, further expanding the range of campus services.
Integrating dining, shopping, social interaction, and cultural experiences, Qiushi Square is part of ECUST’s efforts to optimize the campus educational environment and better meet the daily needs of faculty and students.
